Kid's Intermediate Workshop

Week One

You will learn how to “weave” with your legs, this is an exercise that teaches you how to push one foot in front of the other. This will help you understand how to cross your right foot over the left going around turns which helps you pick up speed!

Week Two

We are teaching you how to do the “T-stop”, and the “Turn around Toe Stop.” We will go over how to turn around smoothly, preparing you to skate backwards!

Week Three

We will show you how to go backwards! We will start with reviewing the “bubbles” exercise and turning around. Then we will combine both exercises and learn how to pick up speed going backwards.

Week Four

You will master how to jump, and how to “shoot the duck.” These are tricks that you can easily build off of for future tricks! In this final lesson you will test out of intermediate level skills.

All students must successfully complete the beginner workshop before progressing to the intermediate workshop.
